AfroAIDSinfo is an Internet project of the South African Medical Research Council (MRC). The aim of the project is to disseminate important information on HIV/AIDS to researchers, the health profession, the public, infected individuals, educators and policy-makers. Carefully selected editorial and information links are published on the portal in an ongoing effort to educate and update each of these audiences and assist them in the fight against HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.

This open access, online journal publishes papers on all aspects of cost-effectiveness analysis, including conceptual or methodological tools and developments, trial-based or modelling-based economic analyses of current or new health care technologies, and policy analysis related to resource allocation and health care financing at a national or international level. Cost Effectiveness and Resource Allocation is interested in publishing a wide range of manuscripts presenting original research, reviews or commentaries.

Monitoring the global spread of HIV, AIDS and STIs is a joint effort of WHO and UNAIDS, coordinated by the UNAIDS/WHO Working Group on Global HIV/AIDS/STI Surveillance. The Working Group develops surveillance guidelines, regularly updates the global database and prepares Epidemiological Fact Sheets and Global Reports on HIV/AIDS.

The AIDS Consortium

Established in January 1992, the AIDS Consortium is a network of over 300 organisations, any community-based, and over 200 individuals.
The Consortium provides access to information on any aspect of HIV/AIDS and lobbies for a human rights-based response to the epidemic.
The AIDS Consortium Resource Centre has expanded and developed, and continues to be recognised as one of the most comprehensive sources of HIV/AIDS materials and resources in Southern Africa.
