Health Global Access Project Coalition

We are an organization of U.S.-based AIDS and human rights activists, people living with HIV/AIDS, public health experts, fair trade advocates and concerned individuals who campaign against policies of neglect and avarice that deny treatment to millions and fuel the spread of HIV.

AIDS Treatment News

This internationally recognized treatment newsletter is an excellent resource for persons living with HIV/AIDS who are looking for information on new therapies. AIDS Treatment News has been published twice a month by John S. James since 1986.

Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS

The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, UNAIDS, is the main advocate for global action on the epidemic. It leads, strengthens and supports an expanded response aimed at preventing transmission of HIV, providing care and support, reducing the vulnerability of individuals and communities to HIV/AIDS, and alleviating the impact of the epidemic.

Medicines for Malaria Venture

Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) - A nonprofit foundation created to discover, develop and deliver new antimalarial drugs through effective public-private partnerships. Their vision is a world in which affordable drugs will help eliminate the devastating effects of malaria and help protect the children, pregnant women, and vulnerable workers of developing countries from this terrible disease.

Aidsmap

AIDSMap is produced by NAM in collaboration with the British HIV Association and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. Initial funding was generously provided by St Stephen's AIDS Trust. NAM exists to support the fight against AIDS with independent, accurate, accessible and comprehensive information. NAM aims to create and disseminate information resources rooted in the experiences of those most affected, enabling individuals and communities to take action and control in responding to HIV and AIDS.

iThemba Lethu

iThemba Lethu is a Voluntary Association (not-for-gain). It was constituted by a group of people with a concern for the future and destiny of young people and children threatened by HIV /AIDS, especially in the Durban area. The organisation has a Christian base, and is rooted in Glenridge Church International, a Durban local church. iThemba Lethu seeks to impact children and young people in Durban whose future is being threatened by HIV /AIDS. Our vision is to see these children and young people regain a meaningful destiny.

Women, Children and HIV

The Francois-Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) Centre at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and the University of California San Francisco's Centre for HIV Information has launched this website. The website contains a comprehensive, Internet-based library of practically applicable materials on mother and child HIV infection including preventing mother-to-child HIV transmission (PMTCT), infant feeding, clinical care of women and children living with HIV infection, and the support of orphans.

Journ-AIDS

Journ-AIDS is a project being undertaken by the Centre for AIDS Development, Research and Evaluation (CADRE) that supports media professionals to provide indepth, accurate and critical reporting on HIV/AIDS in South Africa.
