LISTEN TO AFRICA: A Collaborative Conference on the Crisis in Health Care, Environment and Economic

2001-09-12 to 2001-09-14

This is the first conference focused on the links between health care, environment and economic development in Africa with an emphasis on understanding African perspectives on intervention and program development. The conference will include a series of presentations, roundtable discussions and workshops related to issues including: - AIDS Impact on the Workforce in Africa - Pharmaceuticals in Africa: Access, Impact and Profit - Malaria and River Blindness: Disease-Specific Programs in Africa - Environment, Health Care, and African Economic Development - Effects of African Debt Reduction and Government Policy on Health Care
