Training Course on Drug and Therapeutic Committees


2001-10-18 to 2001-10-25

A seven day course run by the Pharmaceutical Programme of the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Community Initiatives Support Services (CISS), Nairobi, Kenya, in collaboration with the department of Essential Drugs and Medicines Policy of WHO Geneva, and the USAID funded Rational Pharmaceutical Management Plus Programme (RPM Plus) of Management Sciences for Health (MSH), USA. The course is designed for physicians, pharmacists, and health officials in hospitals, ministries of health, universities or private organizations. Those who are interested in improving the rational use of drugs through drug and therapeutic committees (DTCs), and who will be in a position to provide training and technical assistance to other DTCs, are invited to apply. Candidates with some experience of drug and therapeutic committees, and who wish to expand their knowledge, are preferred. For more information contact:Dr. Eva.
