6th Commonwealth Congress on Diarrhoea and Malnutrition

2003-05-19 to 2003-05-21

Commonwealth Association of Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition are inviting you to the 6th CAPGAN conference on diarrhoea and malnutrition. CAPGAN is a unique paediatric organisation that links the scientific medical issues of paediatric gastroenterology and nutrition with a strong advocacy role in the fundamental social and developmental aspects of childhood diarrhoea and malnutrition in developing countries. As the conference themes will address issues of particular concern to African countries, a special invitation is extended to colleagues from African Commonwealth countries. The programme will be varied and stimulating, locally relevant and yet of broad interest to all participants. Fields to be covered include basic and new science in paediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, social and cultural perspectives in infant feeding and care, as well as topics on child advocacy and ethics. There will be up-to-date keynote addresses, symposia and workshop sessions covering recent scientific advances and programmatic considerations relevant to developing countries. For further information on the Congress contact the Congress Secretariat: Jacqui Ingram-Klopper OR Robynne Savic, InterAction Conferencing, University of Natal Graduate School Building, Francois Road, Durban, 4041, South Africa.Tel: +27 (0)31-260 1584/1607, Fax: +27(0)31-260 1606, E-mail: CAPGAN2003@nu.ac.za
