School of Public Health, University of The Western Cape helps you to Advance Your Career in Public Health While You Work.

UWCs School of Public Health (SOPH) equips health professionals from all levels with the knowledge and skills to transform health and welfare in developing countries. Health professionals can gain credits and qualifications incrementally towards a Masters in Public Health starting with (in some cases) a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health, or a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health.

This flexible, modular programme is primarily taken at a distance and focuses on:

• Quantifying and prioritising health needs
• Design, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive Primary Health Care programmes
• Management of District Health Systems.
