Bacteriological coverage rate
| Definition | The bacteriological coverage rate reflects the percentage of cases of PTB for which sputum microscopy results were available. As such, it reflects both the availability of laboratory services and compliance with the national TB guidelines which stress the use of sputum microscopy in the diagnosis of PTB. |
