Tuberculosis death rate per 100 000

DefinitionNumber of deaths due to tuberculosis (all types) reported per 100 000 population (for the year).
Note that the estimates calculated from the StatsSA cause of death data are not corrected for underreporting or poor coding, and are thus an underestimate of mortality due to TB.
