TOPs (Terminations of Pregnancy)

DefinitionThe number of terminations of pregnancy.

For comparison purposes, the following indicators may need to be calculated:
Abortion rate: the number of abortions per 1 000 women of reproductive age in a given year.
Abortion ratio: the number of abortions per 1 000 live births in a given year.
