The Equity Project

A Joint Project between the Government of the Republic of South Africa and the United States Agency for International Development The EQUITY Project is a seven-year, $50-million USAID-funded assistance effort that supports the government in providing integrated primary health care services to all South Africans. EQUITY endeavours to support the development of a unified health system to provide integrated Primary Health Care (PHC) services to underserved populations. The EQUITY Project is focused on the development of efficient and effective health delivery systems, rather than direct service delivery.
