Site Facilitator for Northern Province

The ISDS is seeking to appoint a full-time facilitator to work with the management team in a health district in the Northern Province

The role of the facilitator is to help district management team:

• Define priority health and health service problems
• Design appropriate strategies to address these problems
• Provide support and training to district health workers
• Share the benefits with neighbouring districts and other ISDS sites

The candidate must have a degree or an equivalent, experience in the public health sector and be prepared to travel extensively and spend half of the working time in the Northern Province . Facilitator need to be self-motivated, skilled in health services development and able to work with members of the Department of Health at all level.

Remuneration is based on a standard scale based on experience and qualifications.
