Every year the Health Systems Trust publishes a South African Health Review. As part of our commitment to capacity development we would like to appoint a trainee editor.

Every year the Health Systems Trust publishes a South African Health Review. The purpose of the Review is to highlight progress in key areas of the health system, to identify blocks to policy implementation, and make recommendations.

As part of our commitment to capacity development we would like to appoint a trainee editor. The post will be for a period of six months initially. The work will include reading and commenting on all draft chapters, helping to ensure that data included in chapters is accurate, checking references, and proof reading.

Candidates should hold a Masters degree in Public Health or a related field, should enjoy reading, be prepared to be constructively critical,have an eye for detail, be fluent in at least one African language and be willing to work as part of a team.
