The ISDS is seeking to appoint a full-time facilitator to work with the management team in a health district around Kimberley, Northern Cape.
The Initiative for Sub-District Support (ISDS):
- Is a partnership between the Dept. of Health and the Health Systems Trust
- Aims to show how health care delivery can be improved through the district
system
The bottom line for the ISDS is improved quality of care.
Site Facilitator
The ISDS is seeking to appoint a full-time facilitator to work with the
management team in a health district around Kimberley:
Northern Cape
The role of the facilitator is to help district management team:
- Define priority health and health service problems
- Design appropriate strategies to address these problems
- Provide support and training to district health workers
- Share the benefits with neighbouring districts and other ISDS sites
The candidate must have a degree or an equivalent, experience in the public
health sector and be prepared to travel extensively and spend half of the
working time in the Northern Cape. Facilitator need to be self-motivated,
skilled in health services development and able to work with members of the
Department of Health at all level.
Remuneration is based on a standard scale based on experience and
qualifications.
