The Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Task Team that provides technical expertise to the South African National AIDS Council, is calling for tender applications.

The Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Task Team that  provides technical expertise to the South African National AIDS Council, is calling for tender applications. 

The tender deals with he need for a research inventory, which is  necessary to enable the government to have a database of all the  HIV/AIDS research undertaken so far and identify areas that have been neglected or overlooked. 

Those interested should submit their tender to the Research,  Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Task Team by March the 9th 2001. The tender should demonstrate an understanding of the field and should outline the proposed methodology, timeframe and budget. It is anticipated that a full-time researcher will be required for approximately 4-6 months. Funds available for this Tender will be in the region of R80,000.00.
