Nutrition Facilitators for Umkhanyakude (Jozini- Mkhuze) & Zululand (Ulundi ) Districts

HST is seeking to appoint full-time Nutrition Facilitators to facilitate the implementation of a community-based Integrated Nutrition Programme (INP) in conjunction with the district, local CBOs and academic support institutions. A significant proportion of the time will be spent supporting the work of local CBOs and front-line health workers.
This initiative is part of a broader process to generate experiences and lessons that will inform the broader development of poverty alleviation and sustainable rural development in the province and the country as a whole.
The districts concerned are in Kwazulu- Natal approximately 4- 5 hours from Durban.
The ideal candidates would have skills and experience in the following areas:
*Health and Development
*Rural development
*Community nutrition
*Community based and household nutrition
*Research & writing skills
*Facilitation skills
*Training & mentorship skills
*Project Management
Requirements:
*A degree in social sciences / health and or nutrition or relevant diploma
*A relevant post graduate qualification.
3-5 years relevant experience in integrated rural development.
*Candidate should be prepared to travel. Will be based either in the Durban or Johannesburg HST office.
Remuneration:
A salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications and in line with the HST’s Job grading
