Internal Auditors The Health Systems Trust is a non-government organisation that supports the development of an equitable comprehensive health system that provides quality health careWe seek to appoint an audit firm to serve as internal auditors of the HST and its subsidiary components Terms of reference: The internal auditors shall: *Review internal financial and accounting systems, policies, and procedures, including financial controls and financial reporting *Liaise with the external auditors *Respond to queries and mandates of the Audit and Finance Committees of the Board of Trustees *Monitor compliance with the Trust’s code of conduct and all legal financial requirements *Investigate and advice on major risks to which the Trust may be exposed *Review the control of the Trust’s assets, financial information systems and the staffing of key functions *Conduct detailed tests throughout HST’s financial and accounting cycles Requirements: *At least 5 years of relevant experience in internal auditing of institutions at least the size of the HST. *National profile and presence (including physical and human resource infrastructure) Applications/ Enquiries: A detailed proposal/portfolio with names and contact details should be forwarded to: Deena Govender Health Systems Trust PO Box 808, Durban- 4000. We seek to appoint an audit firm to serve as internal auditors of the HST and its subsidiary components

Terms of reference

The internal auditors shall:

  • Review internal financial and accounting systems, policies, and procedures, including financial controls and financial reporting
  • Liaise with the external auditors
  • Respond to queries and mandates of the Audit and Finance Committees of the Board of Trustees
