Site Facilitator - Western Cape

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Facilitator to support the district development and strengthen the use of health information systems in the Western Cape in order to improve the quality of primary health care.
Responsibilities: Support the Western Cape in:-
- Ensure ownership guidance and support from Provincial, District and sub-district managers and other key stakeholders
- Assess the information system for programmes and support systems, and design, pilot and implement improvements
- Strengthen capacity and systems to enable managers to use information effectively
- Support the use of information for Provincial and district planning and reports
- Linking information systems to quality assurance processes
- Documentation of successful interventions
Requirements:
- Appropriate university degree or equivalent in health systems development
- Five (5) years experience in relevant field.
- Facilitation skills
- Good writing and communication skills (computer literacy)
- Research and evaluation skills
- Knowledge of Primary Health Care, district system development, local government, health information systems and priority health problems
Remuneration: A salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications and in line with the HSTs Job grading system.
This is a 1-year CONTRACT position, which will be reviewed annually depending on future needs.
The incumbent should be prepared to travel substantively.
