South Africa Partners (SA Partners) brings together the skills, talent, and resources needed to support South Africas growth. Emerging from the anti-apartheid movement, SA Partners facilitates the development of mutually beneficial partnerships between organizations and institutions in the United States and South Africa in the areas of health, education, and economic development.

Location East London The CLO will lead PMTCT community mobilization efforts in the Eastern Cape. S/he will strengthen linkages between communities and health facilities and help PMTCT staff respond to community health needs, and address social and structural barriers to use of services. The CLO also provides assistance and support to community-based groups to increase use of PMTCT and will supervise 12 PLHIV field organizers.

Required Experience in community development and HIV/AIDS. Technical expertise in community mobilization behavior change communication interpersonal communication/counseling client-provider interaction gender sensitive approaches to implementation social marketing formation of support groups local government relations and capacity building.

Salary is commensurate with experience and includes medical aid.
