| Summary |
In the absence of a national health bill, many provinces have gone ahead with passing their own provincial health acts. |
| More Details |
These provincial health acts have amongst other things, helped to set out the legal parameters for the organisation and structure of the health care system. In this regard it is important for members of the public and in particualr, local government councillors to understand the content of these acts. For this reason, HST has assisted the free state health department to summarise the content of their health act into a shorter and more accessible format. |
