Improving health care to the farming community in the Bothaville district

A survey was conducted with the main objective to evaluate the current system of health care provision to the rural community in terms of its coverage, the disease profile catered fr, the quality of care provided, and the referral system. The strengths and weaknesses of the previous and current systems of mobile health were determined, as well as the role of farmers/spouses in rural health matters. The survey was conducted among a number of target groups, namely the clients/ potential cients of primary health care services, and health care providers from other facilities in Bothaville and Kgotsong. Structured interviews, as well as focus group discussion were used to gather data.
