Key Issues raised by this report:
Schools provide an important opportunity to promote healthy sexual behavior and reproductive health.  Large numbers of young people can be targeted relatively efficiently.  Given the importance of promoting reproductive health amongst adolescents this opportunity should not be missed.  Some of the recommendations discussed in this report include:
- Develop a team approach
- Develop long-term strategies to support teachers
- Develop links
- Ensure appropriate targeting
- Enhance curriculum content
- Enhance initiative which include school youth
- Encourage innovative approaches
- Enhance the profile of reproductive health promotion in schools
- Evaluate initiatives from the early stages of project design and implementation
- Develop strategies for sharing information and lessons learnt
