Following feedback from some prospective delegates, HST is pleased to make available the following two options to enable as many delegates as possible to participate in this exciting event.
Bursaries
A limited number of bursaries will be considered for prospective delegates for whom attending the conference will make a big difference in their health systems support work but they are facing constraints to pay the full registration fee of R5 000. Bursaries of up to R2 500 will be considered. In exceptional cases full sponsorships may be considered. Applications for bursaries will be accepted and considered on a case by case basis following the process outlined below.
Eligible delegates
Applications will be considered from health care workers currently employed in a public or primary health care setting including the following:
- Registered Nurses
- Community Health Workers
- Counsellors
- Facility Managers
Application process
Eligible applicants must complete and submit the attached application form to conference@hst.org.za by 8 April 2016.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel and applicants notified of the outcome by 15 April 2016, giving them at least two weeks to register and finalise their preparations to attend the Conference.
Partial Attendance Option
We understand that that some delegates may have commitments that may constrain their full attendance at the Conference. While we will be sad that you will miss some key parts of the Conference, delegates who would like to attend for one day instead of the entire three-day Conference are able to register for the day rate. Please visit the registrations page at www.hstconference2016.org.za and select the relevant option to register for your desired date.
