It is with deep sadness that we report that on Thursday, 1 October 2020, Mr Nkosinathi Dube, Driver-Counsellor for the Health Systems Trust (HST) through the Tower Group employment agency, passed away tragically in the Ladysmith-Estcourt region after an unfortunate collision with a freight train at a level crossing. Two other people, one a KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health employee, passed away in this accident, but the Health Systems Trust is not at liberty at this time to share further information.
Mr Dube drove our mobile busses together with a clinical team from the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health to serve communities of the Inkosi Langalibalele sub-district in uThukela.
At this time we ask that you hold the families who have lost loved ones in this tragic accident in your thoughts and prayers as we, as the Health Systems Trust family, strive to support those who have been left bereft.
May their souls rest in peace.
The Health Systems Trust is committed to ensuring the safety of its employees and the larger community while conducting its work.
